Mindfulness Art Journal Page

I recently completed a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course at work, which is what inspired this page.  Mindfulness is all about being present from moment to moment and helps you to gain a greater understanding about yourself through meditation practices.

The meditation helps you to tune in to your body and mind and gives you a shocking insight into your own head! It has made me realise how much I worry and how stressed I have been feeling and has enabled me to take steps to look after myself a little better.

The fairy in this acrylic painting was inspired by the wonderful artwork by Suzi Blu.

    • Thank you! I really recommend bringing Mindfulness into your life. It gives you a greater appreciation of life and an better understanding of yourself. The only problem is that better understanding of yourself may not feel entirely comfortable (which is what happened to me), but gives you the opportunity to do something about it to look after yourself….perfect excuse to spend more time crafting! x
